Should’ve been a Cowboy

John and I met my friend Katie and her son at Frying Pan Farm Park on Friday. The animals are pretty much unchanged, but it was fun to go with someone else this time. John did have an incident with the chickens, and his fingers got a little too close. There was no blood, so I think he was scared more than anything.

On Saturday we had Steve’s company picnic. Much to my dismay, John did not want to ride the pony. He kept the helmet on, but as soon as Steve moved him towards the saddle it was all out cries. The moon bounce went only marginally better, in the fact that he actually touched it.

Luckily, there were plenty of toys around. He gravitated towards all the toy lawn mowers (mo-mos), so maybe Steve can hand over that task even sooner than he hoped.
